Science Extra Credit Extra Credit may be worked on and turned in at any time during the school year. Deadline for any Extra Credit to be applied to the 1st Trimester grade is Wednesday, November 23rd.

Completion of Extra Credit Tips: It is best to discuss your work/ideas with Mr. Baran before and during your work on any Extra Credit. You are encouraged to ask questions and to ask for assistance to ensure that your efforts are well rewarded. Please note that it is CVSD policy that Extra Credit completed may not raise a student's Trimester grade more than one letter grade. NOTE - All Extra Credit is OPTIONAL.

To earn Extra Credit you can modify the requirements of home energy collection requirement (no don't have to form a team or be on a team - you can just do this by yourself to earn Extra Credit in 7th Science for Mr. Baran). Please see me before you decide to tackle this task. Together we'll work out a plan for data collection. To earn Extra Credit you would need to be able to participate in the tree planting on Saturday, October 22nd (9AM - Noon).... then - write up a paper on why the planting uses Ponderosa Pines.
